Idioms
I admit it.. I like Marky Mark. I liked him in The Perfect Storm, RockStar, The Departed, I Heart the Huckabees, The Italian Job, Shooter.... speaking of which, we watched Shooter again for the nth time yesterday and I was puzzled over the quote "I am going to be like a Jehovah's witness and pass out". Tianna came home today reciting tons of idioms. "Kick the Bucket" "Let sleeping dogs lie" "sitting shotgun" . I told her about "swimming with the fishes" and was surprised that she already knew what that mean.
I found this website that lists commonly used idioms. I think I have used a majority of these except for "Cast Iron Stomach", "High on the Hog", "Long in the Tooth" and "Queer the Pitch".
