Visual Basic.Net n stuff

I taught my first Visual Basic.Net class today. The kids were very bright and caught on very fast. It was only a two hour class, so I had to squeeze a lot of information in. They worked on two mini application and a main application, Tic Tac Toe. Tomorrow, I'm having the kids work on a Spaceship Invader-like game. This has also been fun for me as I don't get around to programming simple games.

I've also been trying my hand at Silverlight programming. It's always a pain learning a new programming model because the properties and methods you're used to programming against are either missing or not working like the way you expect them to. But it has been fun learning animation. I've been also tossing around the idea of learning Objective C and programming an app for the Iphone. Unfortunatley, I neither have the energy nor the time.

In my dreams...

As long as I can remember, I've always felt esp like experiences via my dreams. When I was in college, I dreamt that a person in our dorm hall was pregnant. What I didn't know at the time was that her period was late and she was very worried about becoming pregnant. She later referred to me as the Witch.

Several years ago, I had a dream about an ex boyfriend from highschool being ravished by another man. It was a disturbing dream and I started asking around regarding his whereabouts. I was told he was locked up in a state penitentiary.

Several months ago, I dreamt that my aunt (in her late 50's) had a baby and accidentaly allowed the baby to fall into a hole in the floor and died. Very distraught I called my mom to check up on my aunt. My aunt was very ill and was undergoing surgery. My mom told me that the baby represented the illness. The baby falling through the hole meant my aunt would no longer be burdened by the illness.

Most recently, I had a dream about two of my cousins that I haven't spoken to in a long time. It's silly to just call out of no where because of a dream I had, but I hope they are doing fine.

Hopefully, I don't see you in my dreams...

Google Mail Introduces 'Undo Send' Feature

So Gmail has a new feature that will allow you to rescind an email ...within 5 seconds.

So I decided to give this a try and it works great.. only I need more than 5 seconds. 10-15 seconds is a lot more convenient. Who hasn't written an angry letter to an ex? It takes a good 10-15 seconds after you've sent the letter before your anger subsides and humialiation sinks in.

**Arrrgh..it only works if the recipient's mail is gmail. That won't do any good!
