Macho Man Randy Savage

Kevin adopted a kitty several months ago and named it Macho. Eventually it evolved to "Macho Man Randy Savage". I found him in a sink this morning napping. Just adorable.

Cool stuff ...

MushyGushy
I came across this website when I was looking for e-cards on line. Mushy Gushy allows you to cut and paste headshots into animated greetings. It matches the gender, skin-tones, and even facial complexions.

Bed Up
Great idea for small spaces. It's a retractable bed - Bed Up!! Now if only I could read French.

Sloganizer
One of my clients is starting up a company and needed a name and slogan. This site will create the perfect slogan from a keyword of your choice.

Rounded Corners
Ever wandered how to make rounded corners in your image? Look no further

Disc Golf

Kevin and I have been frequenting Laguna Lake to play frisbee golf for the past several months. At the time, only nine baskets were in. But this past weekend, all eighteen baskets appeared to be finished. It was a great day to spend the afternoon but my arm was sore for two days.

Neighbors...

Before my boyfriend and I moved into the condo, we decided to update the kitchen's yellow existing tile to something more modern. One night around 7pm, while knocking out the counter tile, we heard a loud noise at our front door. It the next door neighbor demanding us to stop the noise because she had to work at 4 am the next morning. "Please see to it” she demanded. There was no denying her authoritative and condescending tone. I resented her on the spot.

Three months later, we bought a kitty named Macho. He is an indoor kitty but every so often he will sneak out if we have the garage door open. One day he snuck out while we had the garage door opened. A shriek came out from the neighbor's garage. Apparently, Macho had wandered over to the neighbor's garage. "Get your cat out of my garage!!!" she barked.

Last night, our sitter drove up to the house at 9 pm. She temporarily parked right between our garage and the neighbor's garage. She was planning to move her car when we left. Seven minutes later, we walk outside to see a note taped several times on my baby sitter's windshield. It took us 15 minutes to scrape some of the tape off. I was furious!!

When we got home that evening, we taped a note to her garage basically telling her not to TAPE notes to our sitter's windshield again. It was immature, sure. But how do you deal with witchiness? Her boyfriend came around the next morning advising us that they were now going to make sure we "become better condominium owners" by escalating the issue to the Association.

How does one deal with such a shrew?

Reunions

On my way to pick up my little girl at the airport last Thursday, I met with an old friend from highschool. It has been over 14 year since we last saw each other. I was really nervous and wondered if she would look or act similiar to the girl I once knew. But when she came through the door, her smile calmed my worries. It was fun catching up. She now has three kids and lives in Los Angeles with her husband. We even prank called another friend that we also hadn't seen since highschool.

I find it fascinating that my boyfriend still communicates on a regular basis with friends he has had since elementary school. The longest friend I communicate with on regular basis is a co-worker from a previous job nine years ago. I find it difficult to keep in touch as the vicissitudes of life exhausts me.

However, I want to make a better effort at staying in touch with my old friends. Maybe that will be my late New Year's Resolution...

..:: Inspiration ::..

I began writing a book a couple of weeks ago. After about twenty pages, I suddenly lost momentum. Story of my life! I picked up a paintbrush last weekend to finish a Che Guevara painting I started two years ago. After four hours, I lost the "feeling". It's hard to get motivated to finish something. I need inspiration. I need to continually talk with people who share my interests so I can be inspired to finish.

I lose momentum because I believe it's not good enough. I get to an abstruse area in a painting or writing and then I stress and set it aside. To pick it up later in the week becomes a chore.

So I go over to Bud's blog and it helps me realize what a waste I am making of my life. He's a talented and gifted individual. He works hard and pushes himself even when I'm sure he feels unmotivated. That's inspiration enough for me to get off my lazy arse and finish something.
