Sierra Summit
We went up to Sierra Summit for the weekend to snowboard. It was our first time up in the snow. I really wanted to start off with learning how to ski as I heard it was a lot easier to learn but.... snowboarding just looks a lot more fun!! So we opted to snowboard. I placed Tianna in a Kids Day Camp for several hours. It included lunch and four hours of snowboard lessons. I took a two hour introductory course.
Kids just learn so much quicker because they aren't afraid of falling down and they want to go faster. It appears, the faster you go, the better you are at balancing. By the end of the day, she was ready for the bunny slopes and I had given up after falling down so many times. Next year....

Kids have a much lower center of gravity too. At least, that's the excuse I use most often for me being such a klutz....

The only time I've been skiing was in college and there were toddlers flying by me. I was so embarrassed! It looks like fun, but I'm not sure I have the courage to try it myself.
