Long Division

My daughter is struggling with long division and although I walk through the procedure with her numerous times, she still gets confused.

She is taught the acronym "Does McDonalds Serve Cheese Burgers" at school to help understand steps of division. D-Division, M-Multiple, S-Subtraction, C-Check and B-bring it down . However, once she forgets the acronym, she is lost.

I've read about double division online as an alternative to learning long division but it just appeared to be a lot more work.

This afternoon she is studying with a classmate and while eavesdropping, I find that she does understand in her own way. I am really interested in finding ways to help her learn math easier. I found this cool site: - online flash cards. I would like to find some online long division games where the user can actually fill in the long division steps. I will have to keep researching.
