I can see clearly now!

Thanks to Dr. Winthrop and his staff, after 20+ years of wearing contacts and glasses, I can now toss them!

The procedure was amazingly painfree!! The minute the operation was over, I was already seeing more clearly than I had before w/o my glasses or contacts. It was a slightly blurry, but I could make out the words w/o squinting.

My friend, Tina, drove me home and I rested for four hours. I got up, put the recommended eye drops in my eyes and was out shopping for groceries to make chicken satay for a dinner party later that evening. I had shades on to protect my eye from the glaring sun while grocery shopping and wore the prescribed eye shields while I was cooking (as to not get water or chemicals into my eyes), but other than that, I can see clearly now!!!

I totally recommmend this procedure for anyone looking to free themselves of contacts and or glasses... and I totally recommend Dr. Winthrop. One of his staff, Nadine, held and rubbed my arms through the whole surgery, calming my fears. The operation went a lot quicker than I anticipated and I repeat --- painless!!!

  • Chica! Why do I find out you're blogging again by seeing you on TVS's page? I had lasik four years ago and love it. Have no regrets. I hope you are doing well, and I'd love to catch up some time.
