My daughter's away for several months in the Dominican Republic with her dad. I've decided sublet her room on Craigslist:
-2 Bedroom apartment.
-You will have your own room and bath. The room has (Twin bed, book shelf and drawer)
-Patio, Laundry facility in complex and off-street parking
-Walking distance to downtown
-Share apt with one female
-Must be clean, no smoker, no drugs, no pets, no couples
-$500 Deposit / $700 mth rent (includes utility electric, cable, internet)

I'm a 47-year-old professional male working in radio for the News-Press in Santa Barbara.
If you're interested in showing it to me, I'd like to know the area. Currently, I'm living on Garden Street just West of Alice Keck Park Memorial Gardens. I work on Santa Barbara Street and would like to remain in the downtown area as I walk to work; only three blocks.
If you're not in a similar area, then I wouldn't be interested. By your post, I gather that when your daughter returns, I would have to move out. Is that correct? Let me know.

Hi Kat, yes the room is still available. I'm schedule showing all this week - after 7 pm or during my lunch hour. I'd like to rent month to month until end of December when my daughter returns.
I am on the West Side of State Street. Three Blocks from State Street. I normally walk downtown, but unfortunately, I am further away from State Street than you are. Sorry... good luck in finding a place.

Kat, I think your email has a spam control. "The message you sent requires that you verify that you
are a real live human being and not a spam source." That was the reply I got when I sent this last email.
My prior email, I must have thought it was junk mail and disregarded the response.
