Updates
Been very busy the last several weeks with work. Pistachio Harvest is fastly approaching. I probably will not be posting for a several weeks. This weekend was my last weekend before I start the long 7 days 12 hour shifts.
I spent my last free weekend in Hollywood, CA. I was invited down to check out a band a friend played for: Veiled.
I drove down Friday night and met up with them at the Knitting Factory. Caught some really good performers, one that I particularly enjoyed - Tasha Taylor. Saturday night, I watched Veiled performed at club Good Hurt in Venice. You don't want to miss this band! Very dark, tranquil and melodic. Very talented guys!
The best things about living in a big city like LA, there are choices of restaurants open at 2 AM in the morning other than Denny's! Bossa Nova on Sunset Blvd - Brazillian cuisine and Italan pizzas !!
Fun filled weekend but after staying up for more than 24 hours, I was eager to get home and sleep! I sure don't miss the bumper to bumper traffic.
