Concerts!!
The Doves, great Manchster Indie Rock Band, are playing at the Filmore on June 13th -- YEAH!!! Great musicians such as Smiths, Morrissey, Joy Division, New Order, Stone Roses, James, Oasis, Badly Drawn Boy, 808 State have come out of Manchester!
I am also hearing rumours of Maroon 5 playing at California Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles. Tom Petty and Journey are also scheduled to perform, I believe. Great venue this year. If anyone is interested in going to either or both, shoot me an email! I definitely do not want to miss the Doves!

Whats the deal with Maroon 5? Ive heard a few people 'pushing' them. Do they just have a really good marketing machine or are they actually a good band?

Brady - imho, I think they are a great band. I like their sound. They've been described as being a "fusion of R&B and rock reminiscent of Stevie Wonder, Steely Dan, and Jamiroquai". And I love Steely Dan!!!
