Bay to Breakers 2005
My best friend and I ran/walked the Bay to Breakers in SF on May 15. We had loads of fun. Next year, we have to come up with a creative "body art". Let me preface by saying, on Saturday night, I was up til 2 in the morning. I woke up three hours later and drove the 3.5 hours to the City. It took another 45 minutes (detours, etc) until I finally found parking...aarrgh! Fortunately, I managed to have found my best friend who had already ran a mile into the race. What would one do w/o a cell phone?
I was dead tired and very lethargic!! But it was all worth it. Probably the best fun I've had in ages. I especially enjoyed all the live bands that were performing on almost every block! For mature viewing only. Enjoy..... :)

Thanks for the reminder of all the great reasons why I love SF. I'll be moving back up there within the next week or so. I always said I'd go back when I was bigger, better, and bolder. Well, I don't know about all that... all I know is that a series of timing, events, and circumstances have lead me back where I belong.
By the way, how do you like flickr? I like the way it displays all the icons resized and the larger image, but it keeps crashing my system.

Maly, I rarely pay for services... but with Flickr, I actually liked it. I like the fact that I don't have to mess with resizing of pictures, there's an RSS feed to it, great way to store pics that I can trade with others, and easy to post from XP (edit to Registry setting) among a myriad of other pluses such as API that you can program against to do neat stuff. Yes, I was sold in a few months and bought a membership. Hey.. if you go back to SF, let me know... we might end up being neighbors in a year or two.

My 12 year old sister did this with her girl scout troop. I wish her recollection had just a touch of the enthusiasm that yours did.

So looking at those pictures, I'm thinking it probably wasn't the same event she went to. But I could have sworn it was. LOL

Instead of flickr or any other service where usually you legally assign copyright over to the company which isnt good. I use Gallery and Gallery2 it does all the same stuff but you need the infrastructure (not much required) to support it.

Hi Aymiee, really enjoyed your gallery, I was there, too. Only wish I had thought to have ladies sign my guestbook, maybe next year I already have the yellow hat. especially when they are fun like you. Make sure you take pictures of that pretty round rainbow next year, yummy!
