"Starbucks Nerd"
Whenever I need a good laugh, I head to chrisdiclerico.com. This one just had me ROFL, because I too spend my telecommuting days at Borders or Starbucks utilizing their wireless internet. (pictures are from chris' site)

Maybe it's just me, but this nerd seems to be taking advantage of the internet service thing at Starbucks. I took these pictures tonight of this guy who appears to have lugged his whole computer system into the Starbucks on 41st and Madison. I don't see any coffee anywhere either... -- chrisdiclerico.com

We have tons of homeless gathered around one particular Starbucks downtown, but never ever have I see one parked in front of a computer.
It sucks that he blew the money Stephanie gave him. Guess I'm not really that surprised. It sounded like she was though.

This was a funny story, and the update was rather disconcerting. I'd be pissed too. Plus, I find it hard to believe he couldn't get a better job with that computer tech knowledge that he has.

I was more fascinated with all the comments left than the actual story. Wow, it became very political!!! Also, I am not very empathetic to people who want the easy way out (finding a sugar momma or daddy).
